How long is the lesson?

Our sessions kick off at 5:30 PM and run for three delightful hours. While it might sound like a stretch, once you immerse yourself in the world of creativity, time effortlessly slips away.

How much does it cost?

If you come equipped with your own materials (oil paints, brushes, turpentine, and canvas or painting paper), the lesson is priced at 40 euros. For those who prefer the convenience of having materials provided, the masterclass is priced at 65 euros. This covers top-notch oil paints, a tailor-made canvas on a sturdy wooden frame (you get to choose the size), brushes of various shapes and sizes, palette knives, turpentine, and other essentials. Plus, there's a delightful treat of home-baked cake, alongside freshly brewed coffee and garden-grown tea for all participants.

What if I opt to bring my own materials? How do I know what to bring?

Not to worry! I'll assist you in gearing up for the class. I'll send you a comprehensive list of required items along with visuals featuring pictures and precise color names. If you're based in Dobele, we can even embark on a shopping trip together. It's as easy as one, two – and before you know it, you'll have everything you need. And fear not, investing in a small paint set won't break the bank!

Can I create a painting in just one lesson?

Absolutely! Many participants have left our sessions proudly clutching their own completed artwork after just one class. However, I always stress that the journey matters more than the destination. Delving into the creative flow, where time seems to vanish and worries fade, holds far greater value than the finished piece. Rushing through tends to stifle that magical flow. Whether your painting is completed in one, two, or even four lessons, the beauty lies in embracing the uncertainty and surrendering to the process.

What will I paint in the masterclass?

Whatever your heart desires! You're welcome to come with a clear vision or choose from my selection of photos for inspiration. While some may opt to replicate existing artworks or decorate their space, the most profound moments come from expressing personal emotions, scenes, or people.
